1/ The Aesop Annual Conference “Planning for transition” (AESOP), held in Venice in July (9 – 13) where Elena Maranghi presented her paper “Networking collective knowledge to foster change. The case of Sansheroes network (San Siro, Milan)” in the track Community based planning and social innovation. The conference proceedings will be soon available on line;
2/ The Open Living Lab Days (Open Living Lab Day) organized by the European Network of Living Labs in Thessaloniki, Greece in the beginning of September (3 – 5), where the paper “Adapting the Urban Living Lab approach to marginal contexts and urban regeneration: the case of Mapping San Siro Lab”, written by Francesca Cognetti and Elena Maranghi, was presented in the research session dedicated to Smart Cities and Regions. During the OLLD19 in Thessaloniki, representatives of the team also attended the workshop “After Urban Living Labs: Learning strategies among ULL practitioners and urban governance”, organized by JPI Urban Europe: an interesting chance to reflect on critical points and potentiality of urban living labs and their impacts.
