SoHoLab LUNCH SEMINARS

Since starting the SoHoLab project, Politecnico di Milano research unit organized a series of lunch seminars with the objective of reflecting on action - research methodologies within the field of urban studies and planning. The meetings involved the participation of the local project partners - Osservatorio Regionale sulla Condizione Abitativa (Regione Lombardia); Aler Milano; Èupolis Lombardia; Associazione temporiuso.net - with the aim of developing a sort of co-training and knowledge sharing field. The research unit proposed a series of questions that were addressed by the lecturers in their speech. The issues were related to: knowledge production, knowledge communication and sharing (within research contexts), the role of space and "inhabiting" a research-space within the context, how different disciplines deal with action-research methodologies.
