The document – systematized by Mapping San Siro, as part of its activities of knowledge co-production – is the result of a co-constructed research and planning process that lasted two years (from November 2016 onwards); it aims to illustrate the complex challenges and the important resources of San Siro.
The document, supplied by three maps produced by Mapping San Siro, is the result of a collective work and
describes the present of the neighborhood and also proposes a series of visions for its future. By doing, we hope to give a role and a place to San Siro in the public debate and in dialogue with public policies.
The public presentation, held at La Triennale di Milano, involved public administrators and institutions and was highly participated by citizens, showing the great relevance of “the public city” in public debate.
The document (in Italian) is available here.
